Students and advisers should begin clipping those contest entries for the 2011-2012 ICCJA editorial contest.
To be eligible, entrants must be paid up members by Feb. 17 or have submitted a complete dues form and made provisions for the dues to be sent by their college.

All entries must have been published between March 1, 2011 and Feb. 15, 2012. Entries must be postmarked by Feb. 17 to be judged in this year’s contest.
This year’s contest will again have three divisions.Weekly and biweekly newspapers will compete in Division I, while monthlies and tri-weeklies at schools with an enrollment of 5,001 or more will compete in Division II, monthlies and tri-monthlies at schools with enrollments at 5,000 or less will make up Division III.

–Layout (submit any three complete issues for this category)
–Overall Excellence: Submit one copy of the three best issues.
Awards will be given for first, second, third and honorable mention.
An open category all schools may enter this year is best Web page. Include Web address on the entry form.
