Here are the directions to enter the 2022 ICCJA awards contest. The contest will open in December 2022 for work done from Jan. 1 – Dec. 31 in 2022. The submission deadline will be late January or early February 2023. Details will be available at the link above.
Illinois Community College Journalism Association 
I Jeramie L Bizzle would like to suggest that the 5th Avenue Journal (on-campus paper of Triton College) be included in this years ICCJA award nominations. The paper has won awards from 1991 to 1996. We would like our paper to be recongnized once more for providing not only campus news, but local and tech news hat students want to read about.
I currently intern at the paper and know that this paper has the potential to go further than just the campus, but throughout the community for those who are looking to transfer to the college from elementary, or another university can get insight on what to expect when they arrive.
I thank you for your time and consideration. We are not just a paper, but insight to whats new and trending amongst todays society. That’s the type of paper the students wanted, and that’s the type of paper they deserve.
